Most of the time, with surprise proposals, the couple walks on to the beach together so there’s no way for me to get a mic on anyone before the proposal happens. But THIS time, Michael got there early, so I was able to mic him up before Sarah was escorted to the beach. I loved being able to capture his words during their proposal. Congrats Sarah and Michael!

Josh killed it with this surprise proposal for his girlfriend (spoiler alert – now fiancee!) Sheena. He had a sand castle sculpture, roses, candles, champagne, a bouquet, and, of course, a beautiful ring! Congrats Sheena and Josh!

A little rain…well, a LOT of rain, couldn’t stop Rachel and Christopher’s wedding day! Their planner moved their ceremony and reception from the beach to The Pavilion at Grande Pointe. Their photographer was able, mid-storm, to find an outdoor location for their photos. Having vendors who can pivot (and not panic!) is so important on your wedding day.
