Erica and James had a sweet little barefoot ceremony in Miramar Beach. They rented a condo and had the ceremony right outside the back door on the beach. It was the perfect setup for a destination wedding.

Casie and Donnie had a sweet little ceremony on Princess Beach in Destin. If you got married on the gulf coast this fall, you know we had a *ridiculous* amount of hurricanes this year, and Casie and Donnie’s ceremony was one of many that had to switch dates/times due to storms. The couple, their planner Tropical Beach Weddings, photographer Christina Griffith Photography, and I were all able to coordinate a new time that worked for everyone. It’s so important that you have flexible vendors who can make your wedding a priority and who are willing to work together to make it happen.

Kelly and Zack and a beautiful beach ceremony coordinated by Barefoot Weddings at Beasley Park in Fort Walton Beach. I gush about Barefoot Weddings a lot. Maggie is so easy to work with and takes such great care of her clients. If you’re planning a destination wedding on the emerald coast, I highly recommend you contact her to help plan your special day.

Alli and Ethan had a beautiful wedding day at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fort Walton Beach. It was my first time filming there and I always think it’s so great when you can get ready and then have your ceremony and reception all in the same location. It’s so much easier for couples and their guests to enjoy the day when they don’t have to worry about travel and parking at multiple locations. Also, as a client, you get more bang for you buck from your wedding vendors because there’s no time spent traveling between locations. Alli and Ethan are a great couple. They have such warm, supportive, loving families and it was a pleasure filming their wedding day and editing their films.

I filmed Olivia and Chase’s intimate beach ceremony a couple weeks ago at Beasley Park in Fort Walton Beach. They had some of the sweetest moments during their ceremony. I love Olivia’s smile when she sees Chase while she’s walking down the aisle. And this was definitely the cutest wedding pronouncement that I’ve ever filmed.

Haley and Drew had the most beautiful sunset beach ceremony in 30A earlier this month. Don’t get me wrong – I love big ol weddings with big ol parties, but there’s something special about simple elopements. It’s about the couple, just the two of them, getting married to each other, with no distractions, and it really can’t get more romantic than that.

I wish all couples were as excited to get married as Christine and Cody. Cody’s energy was palpable from the moment the ceremony started and he couldn’t contain his emotions when he saw Christine walking down the aisle. Christine was equally as ecstatic and happy, and they barely made it through their vows together. Christine and Cody are clearly in love and it’s impossible not to get wrapped up in their feelings when watching their ceremony highlights film. ALSO, couples, please consider having a morning ceremony like Christine and Cody did. There is no one on the beach, it’s not hot yet, and you have the whole day to party!

Crystal and Rob had the sweetest vow renewal last month at Beasley Park in Fort Walton Beach, where Barefoot Weddings did another one of their gorgeous sunset ceremony setups. Vow Renewals are one of my favorite things to film. Whether a couple didn’t get the original wedding of their dreams or they’re just wanting to re-commit to each other, it’s always a pleasure to be a part of their special event.
